About the Conference

The only event of its kind in the United States, the Signature Genomics Scientific Microarray Conference brings together medical professionals who use microarray diagnostic technology in their practices for a weekend of discussion about the clinical applications of this technology. To foster an intimate environment for the free sharing of information, conference attendance has been limited to 100 registrants.

The third-annual Signature Genomics Scientific Microarray Conference will feature keynote speakers: Beverly S. Emanuel, PhD of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine; John M. Opitz, MD, Professor of Pediatrics (Medical Genetics), Human Genetics, Pathology, Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah; and Ronald Wapner, MD, Director, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Columbia University Medical Center.

In 2009, the second annual conference headlined keynote speakers: Kurt Benirschke, MD, of the University of California San Diego; R.J. McKinlay "Mac" Garner, MD, of the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand; and David Chitayat, MD, of Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Colleagues presented their experience with microarrays followed by the opportunity to ask questions.
